Building a brighter future for individuals around the globe since 2004.
Two Decades of Work
Since our founding in 2004, CG Charitable Fund has deployed more than $60 million in strategic grants to over 50 nonprofits operating across 17 countries. Every dollar has been directed toward one goal: expanding access to quality education for individuals who need it most.
Our impact spans early childhood literacy in Guatemala, college preparation for foster youth in the United States, teacher training in East Africa, and vocational education across Central America. While the geographies vary, the throughline is constant โ education that transforms lives from the inside out.
We measure success not just in grants disbursed, but in students who learn to read, teachers who grow into leaders, and communities that become more self-sufficient with each passing year.
What We Support
Our grants span the full educational journey โ from a child's first encounter with letters to an adult gaining skills for economic independence.
Foundational reading programs in indigenous communities, ensuring every child develops the skills they need to learn anything else.
Access to quality primary and secondary schooling for at-risk youth in our focus regions.
Supporting youth โ including those in foster care โ with the resources and guidance to pursue higher education.
Professional training and support that strengthens educators and multiplies impact across entire student cohorts.
Skills-based programs that create economic pathways and build the confidence to seek and sustain employment.
Designing high-quality learning materials and student assessment tools that improve educational outcomes at scale.
Where We Work
While our grants have reached 17 countries, our deepest expertise and most sustained relationships are in two regions.
With a strong presence in Guatemala and neighboring countries, our work in Central America spans early literacy for indigenous communities, Kโ12 access, and vocational training for young adults.
